UNDATED – Families of fallen municipal police officers could have continued insurance under a new piece of legislation.
House Bill 911, which was unanimously approved by the Pennsylvania House, would provide lifetime coverage for surviving spouses and insurance for children until age 26.
The proposal now heads to the state Senate for consideration.
