UNDATED – A new resolution is honoring the legacy of a woman who helped establish federal campus safety requirements.
Introduced by Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson and Georgia Congresswoman Lucy McBath, the resolution honors Connie Clery, whose advocacy led to the federal Clery Act.
The resolution recognizes Clery’s work to improve college campus safety policies, following the 1986 rape and murder of her daughter.
