DUBOIS – While Shankel’s Pharmacy has new ownership, the focus on serving you and your family is continuing, with new services helping patients manage their medications.
New owner and pharmacist Chris Heasley says that the pharmacy serves over 130 patients through their medication compliance packaging program, helping you keep track of what to take and when.
“It’s one thing to manage one, two, maybe three medications, but once you start getting over six, seven, eight meds it can be very confusing,” Heasley said.
He went on to say the pharmacy is also a part of a long-term care program that can help you with free delivery and other support, while giving you more personalized care.
