DUBOIS – The DuBois VFW and American Legion are reminding you that there are plenty of ways to support local veterans, even if you haven’t served.
VFW and American Legion Chaplain Paul Sprague told us that both organizations have expanded their community involvement over the years.
“It’s family-focused, explained Sprague. “We have youth programs for both.So we have evolved through the years. We still support our veterans, but it’s the veterans’ families.”
He also says that you can get involved through social memberships, auxiliaries, or through the Sons of American Legion, all while supporting local programs, scholarships, and veteran’s causes.
