CLEARFIELD – A recent U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding mail-in voting could impact Clearfield County, and the Board of Elections is keeping a close eye on the situation.

The Clearfield County Board of Commissioners says everything is in-line right now as preparations continue for the November election. But a developing court battle could affect the mail-in voting process as the Trump Administration seeks new envelope requirements and lists of voters eligible to receive mail-in ballots.

Commissioner Dave Glass said new requirements would invalidate all the materials already purchased for the county.

Clearfield County officials say they’ll keep voters informed as the legal process plays out.
