UNDATED – If you’re a Pennsylvania veteran facing a financial emergency, help may be available.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is reminding you that the Veterans Temporary Assistance program can provide you up to $1,600 dollars a year for essentials like food, housing, fuel, and clothing.
Since the program began over 9,600 veterans and their families have received assistance. You can learn more and apply by contacting your county veterans affairs office.
