UNDATED – Your donations to Goodwill are helping more than thrift stores. They’re also funding a program that helps people leaving prison find work after their incarceration.
CEO of Goodwill of North Central Pennsylvania Tom Glasl tells us that the re-entry program has served hundreds of people.
“We’re going to be standing there with them, helping them, calling them, checking in with them, checking in with the employer,” explained Glasl. “So we mitigate some of that risk for you.”
The program also provides a year of follow-up support to help participants keep their jobs and rejoin the community.
