FERGUSON TOWNSHIP – Two people were hospitalized following a house explosion in Ferguson Township early Thursday morning.
At around 7:30am first responders say they received a call that a home in the 300 block of Pentz Lane blew up with people trapped inside.
Once crews arrived on scene one person was outside and walking around with another still in the wreckage needing to be rescued.
Both were taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
The fire marshal is still investigating the cause of the explosion.
