UNDATED – A piece of legislation that would certify police dogs to detect fentanyl is advancing in the Senate.
House Bill 1344, introduced by State Representative Mike Armanini, if enacted, would allow police dogs to detect the deadly drug.
Now, the legislation has moved past the Senate Judiciary Committee and goes to the full Senate for consideration.
