BROOKVILLE – A DuBois woman is facing several charges after allegedly spending around $1,800 dollars from an elderly man’s credit card.
Police say they began an investigation at the Jefferson Manor after the victim’s wife reported that someone had spent around $1,800 on the man’s credit card between February 2nd and February 7th in the Punxsutawney area.
After investigation, police learned the card was allegedly used by 36 year-old Katie Neal. When questioned, she allegedly admitted to the fraudulent transactions after she found the card on the floor at Sheetz.
She has now been charged with felony theft charges.
