DUBOIS – The DuBois Beavers will take the field this afternoon with a chance to bring home a State Championship.
The Beavers are making their first appearance in a PIAA title game since 1992 after defeating Hollidaysburg in the state semifinals earlier this week.
Head Coach Josh Johnson says that seeing his players reach this moment makes the hard season worth it.
“It’s a lot of feelings of joy,” Johnson said. “The smiles on their faces after these wins, I’ll remember that forever.”
At 4:30pm tonight DuBois takes on Greencastle-Antrim for the championship game. You can listen to it live on Sunny106 with the pregame show beginning at 4pm, weather dependent.
