PennDOT Reports Fewer Fatal Crashes in 2025

UNDATED – A report from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation shows that fewer people are dying from car crashes in 2025.

The report stated that just over one thousand people were killed in crashes, the lowest number ever recorded in the state.

Officials say that there is room for improvement with most fatal crashes are preventable. They say that the biggest factors are in your control, like speeding, distracted driving, and not buckling up.

The report also stated that crashes tied to aggressive driving, and with bicyclists are going up.
