DUBOIS – A DuBois man is in the Clearfield County Jail after allegedly breaking into a home.

On April 8th police responded to an East Park Avenue home after receiving reports that an unknown man was in the residence.

Police then made contact with the man, 23 year-old Zabier Chiplis, who claimed he knew the occupants and the door was unlocked.

The victims claimed they did not know Chiplis. A witness allegedly told police that the man tried to enter his home, but left after learning the door was locked.

Officers then attempted to get fingerprints from Chiplis where he allegedly became combative. He was taken to the county jail where he faces criminal trespassing, aggravated assault, loitering and prowling, and resisting arrest.
