WILCOX – A Wilcox man has been found guilty of trying to hire someone to kill his ex wife.
We previously reported that David Vanatta had told a pastor his plan to hire Colton Baird to kill his ex wife.
When confronted, police learned that Vanatta paid Baird $2,000 dollars for the hit.
Now, after a two day trial, Vanatta was found guilty of felony criminal solicitation and conspiracy to commit criminal homicide.
He is currently housed at the Elk County Jail, awaiting sentencing.
