PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is facing several charges after allegedly assaulting and choking a woman.
On January 5th the female victim told police that she and 50 year-old Jason North got into an argument when he allegedly became violent and choked her.
He then allegedly broke multiple items and doors before physically assaulting and choking her again. He then took her phone and left.
After getting a PFA the victim was continuously harassed by North.
He is now facing strangulation, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats charges.
