Consolation: Brockway 55 DuBois Central Catholic 27 – Luke Martino topped the Rovers’ scoring sheet with 13 points

Championship: DuBois 53, Brookville 40 – Maddox Bennett netted 28 points for the Beavers, bringing his two-game tournament total to 54 points

ELK COUNTY HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT:

Consolation: St. Marys 38, Ridgway 24

Championship: Elk County Catholic 49, Johnsonburg 33 – Chase Simbeck tallied 22 points to lead the Crusaders

The Pittsburgh Penguins knocked off the top Eastern Conference team, the Carolina Hurricanes, in the “Burgh” last night, 5-1.

Thursday night, the Pens host Detroit. The puck drop is scheduled for 7pm. The Pens-Red Wings pregame show begins at 6 New Year’s night on Connect FM.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers play their regular season finale and divisional championship against the Baltimore Ravens at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff time for the Pittsburgh and Baltimore matchup is scheduled for 8:20 Sunday night.
