DUBOIS – As you do your holiday shopping you are encouraged to shop local and make a big difference.
Local shops help keep money local, support jobs, events, and keep a municipality running.
“There’s so many great gift shops, and coffee shops, and restaurants that we have and we just hope that we can encourage people to shop local, shop small this holiday season, and embrace all of the small businesses in our community,“ explained Jodi August with the Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce.
You are encouraged to visit local businesses for Shop Small Saturday, from 11am to 8pm you can get a bag filled with merchandise, coupons, and samples from Downtown DuBois, locations will be revealed on their Facebook Page.
