Martha J. (Muth) Wachob, age 83, of Luthersburg, PA died Monday, September 21, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born on February 19, 1943 in Bell Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Beatty) Muth.
On January 16, 1965 she married her husband of 57 years, William L. Wachob. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2022.
Martha was a homemaker. She had previously worked as a dietician at the former Maple Avenue Hospital, and worked as an orientation supervisor at the DuBois Village. She was a charter member of the Brady Township Ladies Auxiliary, and secretary/treasurer of the Brady Township Homecoming Committee. Martha loved crafting, quilting and going camping, however baking and cooking were her passion.
Martha is survived by her son Michael L. Wachob and his husband Joseph Lansberry of Luthersburg, PA, two grandchildren; Chicgo “Andy” Callender and Matthew Wachob, both of Luthersburg, PA, one great grandchild, Takoda Callender, four brothers; Earl, Ronald, Charles and Edward Muth, and one sister Florence Mitchell. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard “Scott” Wachob, and three sisters, Imogene, Donna, and Mary, and a brother, Kenneth
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 5 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
