DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is behind bars after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
On November 13th, police and EMS responded to West Scribner Avenue for a welfare check. Once on scene, police came in contact with 22 year-old Emily White, who allegedly tried to evade EMS workers.
When an officer attempted to intervene, she allegedly lunged at the officer, grabbing his neck and hitting him on his face.
Officers were able to take White into custody and transport her to the Clearfield County Jail where she faces aggravated assault and strangulation charges.
