Loretta Alberta Morris, 94, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Penn Highlands Dubois surrounded by her family.
She was born February 11, 1932 in Brandy Camp, daughter of Daniel Anthony Bundy, Sr. and Ruth Olivia Vibbert Bundy who preceded her in death.
On July 26, 1952 she married her soulmate Lewis Laverne Morris who also preceded her in death.
Loretta was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, sitting on the porch watching hummingbirds and cardinals eat from the bird feeders. She was soft hearted by nature. Even in death, she was a giving person by donating organs and tissue. She loved watching cooking and game shows. Most of all she loved her family. She retired from the Royal Inn in Ridgway where she worked as a housekeeper for more than 30 years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son Marvin Allen Morris Sr., daughter-in-law Melissa (Richard) Morris, one brother Daniel Anthony Bundy Jr. and two sisters Annabell Marie Young and Thelma Irene Hadfield.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Lou Anderson of Brandy Camp, a son Richard Allan Morris of Dubois and daughter, Susan Elaine Roberts of Clinton, Illinois. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Marvin (Robin) Morris Jr. of Brockway, Shawn (Brittany) Morris of Kersey, Allan Morris of Ridgway, Melissa (Kevin) Villafana of Port Charlotte, Florida, Pamela (Franklin) Hutchinson of Fort White, Florida, Chrissy (Joshua) Thielen of Clinton, Illinois, Tonya (Corey Vogel) Morris of Dubois and Richie Morris of Dubois and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 23 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Victor Baxter officiating. Burial will be in the Beechtree Cemetery.
