BROCKPORT – A Brockport man is behind bars after a standoff with police in early October.
On October 3rd, police were dispatched to a Shawmut Road address for reports of a man, later identified as 53 year-old Jeffery Rhed, in crisis.
Police were on scene for multiple hours trying to help Rhed when he allegedly threatened to grab a firearm and shoot at police.
At a later time, he was taken into custody by police and transported to the Elk County Jail where he faces terroristic threats charges.
