COOPER TOWNSHIP – A Maryland man is facing several charges after allegedly having inappropriate contact with a Cooper Township juvenile.

On May 19th police spoke to a juvenile victim who claimed that between August of 2025 and March of 2026 19 year-old Sean Chase had inappropriate contact with the victim between five to ten times.

Now, Chase has been charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, statutory sexual assault, and indecent assault. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 7th.
