BECCARIA – One man is facing felony level charges after being accused of starting a fire that destroyed a home in Beccaria Township.
This stems from an August 28th incident where a fire had destroyed a home, garage, and car.
After investigating, police accused 50 year-old Scotty Lucas of drilling into the gas tank of a car which ultimately started the fire.
Now, after waiving his preliminary hearing, Lucas has been housed at the Clearfield County Jail where he faces felony risking catastrophe and causing a catastrophe charges.
