WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – A DuBois man is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing more than $9,000 dollars from a motorcycle dealership in Jefferson County.
In June, the Washington Township dealership contacted authorities claiming that 39-year old Orin Taylor, who was sales manager at the business, allegedly stole a total of $9,398.77 over a three month period.
When questioned by officers, Taylor reportedly admitted to keeping money from deals with customers. He also confessed to pocketing the money in a resignation letter to his employer.
Taylor was arraigned on theft charges. He now faces a September 30th preliminary hearing.
