DUBOIS – Penn Highlands DuBois is celebrating a major milestone in blood clot treatment with 200 patients successfully treated.
Venous Thromboembolism or VTE occurs when blood clots form in deep veins, commonly found in the arms and legs.
If not properly addressed, the clots can move to other portions of your body and become deadly.
Now Penn Highlands DuBois is celebrating this achievement of successfully treating 200 patients.
