CLEARFIELD COUNTY – Clearfield County DA Ryan Sayers is reminding you to stay vigilant of scam attempts in our area.
The DA says that the most recent scam attempts in our area has the scammer calling you saying that a family member is in legal trouble and needs money to not be criminally prosecuted.
Sayers says these calls are scams that try to get you to act hastily in fear of urgency.
He also says to be vigilant on any attempts and to make sure of the facts of your family’s well being before making any payments
