DuBois Little League All Star Baseball:
The District 10 Little League All Stars Tournament rolls on for three DuBois Little League Baseball teams.
Wednesday, the DuBois 8 to 10 year-old All Stars continued to advance in the winner’s bracket following a 13-4 win over Brookville. Next for the DuBois All Stars is a game against St. Marys on Sunday.
The DuBois Junior All Stars begin their district tournament on Friday. Live action of the Junior Tournament games involving DuBois will come your way on Sunny 106, starting with the DuBois and Punxsutawney matchup at 6pm tomorrow.
On Saturday, the DuBois Major All Stars have a winner’s bracket matchup against Bradford. Listen live on Connect FM Saturday afternoon at 4 as the DuBois All Stars take on the Bradford All Stars in the Major Division. The game will be played at Way Memorial Field in DuBois.

Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday, 4-2.
Today is an off day for the Pirates. The New York Mets are coming to the Burgh for a three-game weekend series. Friday night, the Bucs and Mets will play at 6:40. Listen for the pregame show on Connect FM at 6:15 Friday evening.
Altoona Curve:
The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve took game two of their series with the Chesapeake BaySox last night, 4-2. Game three of Altoona’s series in Maryland is scheduled to begin at 6:35 this evening.
Pittsburgh Penguins:
The NHL Draft is this weekend, and the Pittsburgh Penguins will have a total of 11 selections, including a pair of back-to-back picks in the first round. Pittsburgh picks 11th and 12th in the first round of the draft. The Pens will also be making six draft picks out of the first 100 for the league.
