DuBois Little League All Star Baseball
The DuBois Little League Baseball All Stars begin District 10 tournament play this week. On Wednesday, the DuBois Major All Stars will play the combo team of Smethport, Mt. Jewett and Kane in DuBois. That game will be carried live on Connect FM. Then on Thursday, the DuBois 8 to 10 year-old All Stars are scheduled to take on the Smethport, Mt. Jewett, Kane combo team on the combo team’s home field. The DuBois Senior All Stars will also be in action Thursday against a Smethport, Mt. Jewett, Bradford combo team. Listen for that game on Connect FM at 6pm Thursday. The DuBois Junior All Stars begin their district tournament on June 27th.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates have won seven of their last dozen games as they continue their road trip tonight in Detroit. The Bucs will play their next three games in Detroit. The first pitch of tonight’s game is scheduled for 6:40. Tune in for the Pirates-Tigers pregame show on Connect FM this evening at 6:15.
Altoona Curve:
The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve get ready for another six-game Eastern League home series. The Richmond Flying Squirrels are in Altoona. Game one of the series is tonight, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30.
