Brockway 10, Cameron County 7 – Caleb Daugherty smacked three hits and drove in two runs for the Rovers.
The Elk County Catholic at St. Marys game was canceled.
The District 9 baseball playoffs begin next week.

Thursday’s St. Marys at Elk County Catholic game was canceled.
The softball playoffs for District 9 begin on Monday.
Penn State DuBois Baseball and Softball:
The baseball and softball Small College World Series for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association wrapped up on Thursday in DuBois.
The Penn State DuBois baseball team fell short to Penn State Mont Alto, 11-9. That gave Penn State DuBois a third place finish in this year’s tournament. The series championship was won by Salem University over Penn State Mont Alto.
The Southern Maine Community College softball team won the championship of the USCAA’s Small College World Series.
Pittsburgh Pirates:
The Pittsburgh Pirates have won three of their last six games, and now have a 15-and-29 overall record as they begin a three-game weekend series in Philadelphia tonight.
The first pitch of the Pirates-Phillies game this evening is scheduled for 6:45. Listen for the pregame show on Connect FM at 6:20.
Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve knocked off Harrisburg, 9-4, last night. The Curve and Senators will play the fourth game of the six-game series at PNG Field in Altoona tonight at 6.
