DuBois Alleged Burglary

DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is behind bars after allegedly stealing a vehicle before breaking into a building last month.

According to Sandy Township Police, on March 12th they received a call that someone’s Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen out of their driveway. 

The affidavit of probable cause stated that the owner of the vehicle gave the keys to a man who was working on the Jeep. It was stated that 37 year-old Miranda Clark stayed with the man and allegedly took keys without permission.

Police learned that Clark allegedly used the vehicle to attempt to break into another building before diving back to the car owner’s residence and attempting to enter the home.

When questioned by police at a later date, she allegedly admitted to theft and breaking into the other home.

She is currently at the Clearfield County Jail facing a slew of burglary and theft charges.
