UNDATED – Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi has announced that 12 satellite campuses may close including the DuBois Campus.
According to the president this is due to the decline in enrollment and shifting demographics.
Impacted campuses include Beaver, DuBois, Fayette, Greater Allegheny, Hazleton, Mont Alto, New Kensington, Schuylkill, Shenango, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and York.
Any closings will not happen until the 2026-2027 school year.
A final recommendation on the closures is expected by the end of the Spring semester.
