DUBOIS – A new nursing program by Mount Aloysius College is coming to the Penn State DuBois campus, addressing the region’s growing demand for healthcare locally.

Mount Aloysius College announced plans to launch the program at the former Penn State DuBois campus. The announcement was made today by State Representative Mike Armanini and Mount Aloysius President John McKeegan.

The program will offer courses in nursing, surgical technology, and Radiography/Medical Imaging.

“Mount Aloysius College is coming to DuBois,“ explained President McKeegan “We’re going to be on the campus of the former Penn State DuBois.”

This was made possible through the collaboration of Representative Armanini, Mount Aloysius, the DuBois Education Foundation, and Penn Highlands Healthcare.

Pre-nursing classes are expected to begin this fall, with full courses starting in January pending approval from Middle States. You can find more information on the courses by visiting mtaloy.edu/dubois or call (888) 823-2220.
