Pa Health Insurance Premiums May Rise Next Year

UNDATED – Pennsylvania’s health insurance marketplace, Pennie, might see an increase to premiums in 2026.

Currently the service uses enhanced premium tax credits to make health insurance affordable.

However, the federal action that makes this possible is set to expire at the end of the year.

Without an extension, it is estimated that 90% of premiums will see a significant increase in 2026.
