DuBois High School Rife Team:

The DuBois High School Rifle Team beat Northern Cambria Thursday night by a score of 1332 to 1148. DuBois shooters set eight personal best scores while also setting the highest team score so far this season.

Top five for DuBois: Brady Kiskaddon – 283; Kaelyn Korb – 266; Alexia Austin – 262; Hunter Jeffers – 261; and Jack Elias – 260.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins are in Florida, and will take on the Panthers tonight. Tonight’s Pens-Panthers pregame show starts at 6:30. The opening puck drop is scheduled for 7 … on Connect FM and Sunny 106.

College Football:

The Penn State Nittany Lions, 31-14 winners over Boise State in the New Year’s Eve Fiesta Bowl, advance into the semifinal round of the college football playoffs. Penn State will face Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl next Thursday. Kickoff time is 7:30. A win over the Fighting Irish will send the Nittany Lions to the National Championship game.

 

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-and-6 as they head into their final regular season game on Saturday. Pittsburgh is hosting Cincinnati. The Steelers-Bengals game kickoff time is set for 8pm.
