Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins are just one win away from reaching the .500 mark for their season record. They will give it a shot at home tonight against the LA Kings.

BOYS (Monday)

Tyrone 75, Clearfield 53 – Clearfield’s Braison Patrick was the game’s top scorer with 27 points

Punxsutawney 59, Ridgway 29

Claysburg-Kimmel 70, Curwensville 66 – Davis Fleming scored 18 points to lead the Golden Tide

GIRLS (Monday)

Marion Center 58, DuBois 27 – Audrey Kennis was the top scorer for DuBois with 11 points

Cameron County 38, Brockway 35 – Sophia Morrison netted 12 points in the game, 10 of them in the fourth quarter for the Lady Rovers

Brookville 52, Johnsonburg 28 – Emma Northey led the Lady Raiders with 16 points

Elk County Catholic 42, Kane 41 – Mya Pistner scored 22 points for ECC

College Football:

The Penn State Nittany Lions are gearing up for college football playoff action this weekend. Penn State is the number 6 seed in the bracket, and will host 11th seeded SMU on Saturday. Kickoff time in Happy Valley is 12 Noon.

 

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Pittsburgh Steelers fell 27-13 to cross-state foe Philadelphia on Sunday. Next for the Steelers is a game at Baltimore on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30pm. Pittsburgh holds to first place in the AFC North, the Ravens are just one game behind the Steelers in the standings.
