ST. MARYS – Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys is under the leadership of a new president.
Julianne Peer, who has been President of Penn Highlands Brookville for the past 10 years, is taking on the role of overseeing the operations of both Tri-County area hospitals.
According to Penn Highlands Healthcare, Peer started her career at the Brookville Hospital in 1984 in the Accounting Department. She also served as the controller and vice president of finance before she became the hospital President in 2013.
Peer and her husband are Brookville residents, and they have two daughters and one grandson.
