BROOKVILLE – Members of the American Legion Post 102 are celebrating their next chapter in Brookville, following the opening of their new home at 265 North Barnett Street.
This hall gives the Legion a permanent location for the first time in 25 years and also features the beginning of the new Jefferson County Military Museum.
“Now that we have a permanent home, we can actually display artifacts which have been in storage forever,” said Post 102 Commander Stephen Ent. “One of the dreams we’ve had is to have a Jefferson County Military Museum for just this area, and now we’re making that dream come true.”
Commander Ent also says the Legion is also accepting your military artifacts and memorabilia on loan, allowing you to share local history while keeping ownership of your items.
