All charges were dismissed against Mayor Eddie Walsh today. Walsh was charged after driving on a city sidewalk during community days. Walsh said he was helping entertainers safetly get out of the park after their performance. City police charged him with careless driving and driving on the sidewalk. Walsh’s attorney said another city officer and city official did the same thing and they were not charged. An out of town magistrate heard the case.
