State grant given to Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County to assist with properties beyond repair

CLEARFIELD – Efforts continue throughout Clearfield County to eliminate blight.

The Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County has received a $100,000 state grant to assist in the demolition of properties in Curwensville and Morris Township that are beyond repair.

Also, a revitalization program will be developed for Clearfield’s Third Ward area so that residents can receive assistance to make outside improvements to their homes.

The funding has been provided by the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency.
