Just for Jesus church and homeless shelter damaged by fire

Brockway, PA – A church/homeless shelter in Jefferson County was damaged in a fire early this morning, though details are very vague.

Fire crews were called to the Just for Jesus building in Brockway around 5 a.m. Friday.

Although it was a working fire when crews arrived, it was quickly knocked down.

There is no word on the circumstances on the fire or how extensive the damage is.

Although no reports indicate injuries at this time, we do not know whether the building was occupied at the time or if anyone suffered injuries.

Investigators have not released an official report.

Route 28 was closed down for about two hours. It has now reopened.
