RIDGWAY – A Ridgway duo are facing several charges after allegedly abusing an infant.
On March 21st police were called to the Bradford Regional Medical Center for reports of an abused infant.
Nurses told police the one and a half year-old child had signs of inflicted trauma, bruising, and swelling.
Police spoke to the mother of the child, 23 year-old Skylar Foust who said the child was being watched by 19 year-old Drake Chapman in mid February when the bruises first appeared.
When questioned, Chapman allegedly told police he grabbed the child leading to the bruising.
Chapman has now been charged with felony aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and simple assault. Foust was charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of children.
