CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man has been jailed after allegedly trapping a woman in a home for a week.
On August 10th the victim called police and reported that 19 year-old Andrew High refused to let her leave an Ogden Avenue home for a week, threatening to kill her if she left.
She also stated that High stabbed himself to validate the threats.
Police attempted to take High into custody when he allegedly fled on foot. He was later taken into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail where he faces kidnapping and false imprisonment charges.
