BROOKVILLE – Bells across the Brookville community will ring Friday morning in remembrance of those who lost their lives 25 years ago on September 11th 2001.
The Jefferson County Courthouse bells will ring for one minute at the following times:
8:46 AM — Flight 11 strikes the North Tower
9:03 AM — Flight 175 strikes the South Tower
9:37 AM — Flight 77 strikes the Pentagon
9:59 AM — The South Tower collapses
10:03 AM — Flight 93 crashes in Somerset County, Pennsylvania
10:28 AM — The North Tower collapses
Churches throughout the community are also encouraged to join in, ringing their bells at the key moments
