CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man has been jailed after allegedly getting into an altercation with a minor while under the influence of drugs.

On Sunday police responded to a Spruce Street address after a juvenile left after an alleged altercation with 38 year-old James Klingler Sr.

Once on scene police say Klingler became combative and resisted arrest spitting blood onto officers. Police then allegedly found he had multiple drugs on his person while around children.

Klingler has now been sent to the Clearfield County Jail where he faces disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child, assault of a law enforcement officer, and multiple drug charges.
