Punxsutawney Sex Offender Charged for Failure to Disclose New Job

PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man, who is a registered sex offender, is facing several new charges after allegedly failing to disclose that he was working at a borough church.

On July 29th police were requested to look into 34 year-old Allan Mahan’s employment at a church.

The church pastor informed police that Mahan had been working as a maintenance man at the church since mid February.

Meanwhile, Mahan’s routine registration stated that he only worked at Colonial Concrete in Rossiter.

Now, Mahan has been charged with felony failure to provide accurate registration information and making a false statement under penalty.
