CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Council has officially accepted the resignation of Mayor Mason Strouse and Councilman Dennis Biancuzzo and is now looking to fill both vacancies.

This follows a report last month that the two stepped down citing alleged threats and hostility.

Now, council is looking for applicants to fill the mayor’s position for the remainder of his current term. The borough is also seeking someone to represent the 3rd Ward, which has no sitting representation.
