CLEARFIELD – Two people are facing several charges after allegedly breaking into multiple Clearfield businesses and fleeing from police.

On Saturday police responded to reports of break ins at the Skills Room and Rainbow 3 Carwash. Once on scene police say they saw two individuals sprinting from the building and getting onto a motorcycle with a New York State registration.

After a brief pursuit, reaching speeds up to 70 miles an hour, police say the motorcycle lost traction and fell in a grassy area of Mt. Joy Cemetery. Police then placed the two individuals, 24 year-old Seth Bourlier of Fulton NY and 25 year-old Syndey Peteuli of Clearfield, into custody where they allegedly found assorted tools and cash.

They are now facing theft, criminal mischief, and fleeing charges.
