DUBOIS – The day before prom, DuBois students watched the real consequences of driving while impaired.
The staged crash put students inside two vehicles, with two students being seriously injured, one dead, and the impaired driver taken into custody.
“Hopefully, they will make some good decisions after seeing what the consequences would be if they leave the prom and get into a wreck or anything like that, “ explained DuBois Principal Manny Barbazzeni.
These demonstrations are done the day before prom to give students a real look at what happens when you drive while impaired.
