Woman Arrested After Alleged Break-In

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman is in the Clearfield County Jail after allegedly breaking into a building and biting officers when detained.

On Thursday morning, police responded to an Ogden Avenue address for reports of a suspicious female. Once on scene police learned that 38 year-old Sara Peangatelli allegedly attempted to enter a home when stopped by the homeowner.

Police took her into custody where they learned she was on probation and transported her to Penn Highlands Clearfield for medical clearance. While there, Peangatelli allegedly attempted to bite, lick, and kick officers and staff. 

She was then transported to the Clearfield County Jail on Criminal Trespass, Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness.
