PHILIPSBURG – One man has been found dead after a multi-hour long standoff with police.
We previously reported that police were engaged in a standoff with an armed man after attempting to serve a warrant for alleged sexual abuse in Philipsburg Wednesday.
Now, we learned that the man was found dead inside the North Second Street apartment from a “self inflicted injury”.
The identity of the 45 year-old man has not been released at the time of reporting.
